Marnie is one of a litter of three puppies that were discovered living in the fields with their abandoned mother. The family was regularly visited and fed by a lady living locally until a home could be found for the mother. At that point, the three puppies came to Adoption Dogs Portugal. 

Based on her size now, and the size of her mother, she will remain a small dog of under 10kg once fully grown.

At first, the puppies were extremely shy, scared of human contact and covered in ticks and fleas, but they have since thrived with care and attention. The only boy of the family, Monty, has already been adopted and has made a very successful transition to family life. 

Marnie has been treated for parasites (internal/external), microchipped and started her vaccination regime. From the start, she was the boldest and most confident of the three puppies and remains that way. She loves to play with the other dogs here, as well as her sister Misty, and can be very vocal in her excitement! Once she trusts you, Marnie is happy to be picked up and cuddled.
